Company Background

Snipe is the leading provider of precision fertilization and irrigation (fertigation) systems in Palestine and the region

In recent years, the world has witnessed an alarming impact of climate change as a consequence of global warming. This led to an unprecedented drought in many parts of the globe, affecting those who are most vulnerable. The need to address water scarcity and food shortages presented Snipe with the opportunity to address these pressing challenges with the development of a cost-effective, smart and highly advanced fertilization and irrigation (fertigation) platform - AgriLive - which enables farmers to accurately control the amount of water and fertilizers that their crops need based on weather, soil nutrients, and environmental conditions of their farms. Through a smartphone app or the web, AgriLive controller allows remote programming and monitoring access.

AgriLive, is a scalable platform that can support 200+ dunums of farmland. The system affordability enables sustainable and profitable farming with increased crop yields and quality, while using less water, fertilizers, and energy. Snipe is committed to ensuring that this technology is affordable and available to farmers in Palestine and the region.

News and Announcements

Oct. 24, 2022: Palm Farmers Cooperative Association (PFCA), Jericho and Jordan Valley, awarded Snipe a project to design and install an advanced technology remote monitoring and control system to enable PFCA to control supply of irrigation water from five aquifer wells that PFCA owns and manages, to 25 member farmers in the Jericho area. The System will provide PFCA control and data access to supplied water from each well and to every participating farmer. PFCA will also monitor water supply condition and system operation, thus providing full remote access effortlessly and accurately. The system will be fully operational by end of January, 2023.

PFCA serves more than 130 members. It is responsible for supporting the growth of Palm tree farming, including dates storage, handling, and marketing, to improve crop yield, production quality and farming profitability.

This agreement came about as a result of PalPro's introduction of Snipe to PFCA. PalPro is a critical hub for entrepreneurial ventures and businesses in Palestine in need of integrated and innovative business development and services.
